Hi, I’m Cassandra, a Compliance Officer with Trade Skills Australia. It’s great to be back at TSA and contributing to the meaningful work the organisation does.
My background in social work has shaped the way I approach my work, with an understanding that behind every application is a person working towards a goal. Combined with my experience in assessment and compliance, this has given me a strong appreciation for fair, consistent evaluations, and clear communication. I believe it’s possible to maintain high standards while making the process as smooth and accessible as possible.
In my role, I primarily work with candidates who come to us through our partner agents, helping them navigate the RPL process. Whether it’s clarifying requirements, responding to queries, or ensuring evidence is reviewed against the relevant criteria, I value the opportunity to help make what can sometimes be an unfamiliar or complex process more manageable.
Being part of TSA again has reinforced my appreciation for the role the organisation plays in recognising people’s skills, knowledge and experience. Every candidate has a different background and journey, and I believe it’s important to approach each application with care, attention to detail and a genuine willingness to help.
For me, compliance is about more than meeting requirements. It’s about maintaining high standards while helping candidates and our agent partners understand what’s needed and feel confident in the process. My goal is to make the RPL journey as straightforward and seamless as possible.
