MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)

This qualification is for Candidates that work as a Fitter and Turner or Fitter Machinist in the mechanical engineering industry in areas such as oil and gas, marine, mining, maintenance, food processing and more.

A Fitter and Turner is responsible for interpreting engineering drawings to be able to construct, assemble, manufacture and fit parts of machines and assemblies. They are also responsible for maintaining and repairing different types of machinery.
